Breath Therapy (from 2 y.o.)

Excercises, relaxation and movement based plays, sessions on the massage table

Breath therapy is tailored to the needs of young clients. In a lighthearted and playful way, it strengthens and promotes body awareness, mindfulness, and self-esteem. In a trusting environment, children and adolescents can express themselves freely and gain a new awareness of their bodies and a new sense of their abilities and resources.

To ensure that the child or adolescent can also feel the changes they notice during the session in their everyday life, they are given exercises to do at home or at school.

In a world where stress and sensory overload are widespread among children and adolescents, they can recharge their batteries in a playful and creative way and learn to adapt better to external circumstances and regulate their emotions more effectively.

Trauma Integration

(from 6 y.o.)

Your child learns to become more familiar with and regulate their nervous systesm.

When children or adolescents are confronted with emotional challenges arising from family issues (e.g. divorce), school issues (e.g. bullying) or societal issues (e.g. rejection), this can lead to restlessness, a fear of bonding and commitment, 'difficult' behaviour or difficulties with letting go.

The NSTI® method is tailored to the needs of young clients and helps them to feel safe in their bodies again, experience more calmness and serenity, and become more confident.

I only treat the following trauma issues if the child or adolescent is also receiving psychotherapeutic support: sexual and physical abuse.

Atlaslogy (from 2 y.o.)

A gentle impulse is used to restore the balance of your child's atlas.

A misalignment of the atlas (first cervical vertebra) can be caused by birth (C-section, use of vacuum extractors or forceps), (sports) injuries, blows, falls and accidents, sleeping on your stomach, tension and stiffness.

This can cause your child to experience headaches, tension, pelvic tilt, poor posture (possibly in the form of scoliosis), digestive problems, and general restlessness and nervousness.

With the help of atlaslogy, your child's atlas is realigned by gently touching the lateral processes of the atlas.

This allows your child to explore life again with joy and ease.

I take a holistic approach and consider the individuality of each (young) client. This means that, with your consent as parents, I incorporate other forms of treatment into the session to ensure that the effects of atlaslogy are more lasting.
